AARP Shred Day Returns to Evansville April 26

Scammers and fraudsters are getting more and more creative.

But creativity has a hard time standing up to the power of industrial strength paper shredders. Shred the scammers one document at a time at AARP Indiana’s spring Shred Day at Wesselman Woods April 26!

"Our team is glad to be back at Wesselman Woods this spring to combat fraud," Addison Pollock, director of outreach, said. "Local volunteers are excited to greet the community and help with this vital service."

The service is free – but you can register ahead of time to enter a sweepstakes for a special prize! Bring all the sensitive paperwork you need shredded, and it’ll be one step closer to ticker tape.

A shred truck and volunteers to help safely dispose of documents will be on hand from 9 a.m. to noon Central. They will be located near the Wesselman Woods Nature Center (551 North Boeke Road, Evansville, IN, 47711).
