AARP Rapid City Hosts Monthly Free Coffee Kickstart
Rapid City area residents looking for a hot cup of coffee and friendly conversation are invited to stop by Koyote Koffee, 3464 Sturgis Road, between 7-9 a.m. (Mountain Time) on the first Monday of each month from September through May.
AARP volunteers in Rapid City host the free coffee and conversation events.
“We are pleased to bring this free event to the community,” said Lindsey Holmquest, Community Outreach Director for AARP South Dakota. “Building social connections and sharing resources to help empower people to choose how they want to live as they age are important priorities for AARP. We are thrilled to work with the AARP South Dakota state office to bring the Free Coffee Kickstart program to Rapid City.”
On the first Monday of the month, AARP volunteers will be at Koyote Koffee. Anyone can stop by, check in with the volunteers and then they will receive a free cup of brewed coffee or tea.
