Discover the powerful connection between Qigong and Nonviolent Communication to help manage holiday stress and fight off anxiety during AARP Wyoming’s Qigong and Nonviolent Communication series offered Saturdays in November and December.

The series is free, but registration is required. To sign up, go to Visit aarp.org/wyevents and search “Nonviolent Communication.”

This six-week series of one-hour classes starts Nov. 16 and runs each Saturday through Dec. 21. (Except Dec. 7) The courses offer a unique blend of Qigong and Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to help you navigate the holiday season with greater ease, joy, and connection. Through a combination of gentle Qigong movements and NVC principles, you'll learn to:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety: Qigong's calming exercises and deep breathing techniques will help you manage holiday stress.
  • Improve emotional well-being: NVC will teach you to express your feelings honestly and compassionately, fostering healthy relationships.
  • Enhance self-awareness: Explore your thoughts, feelings, and needs to understand yourself and others better.
  • Communicate effectively: Transform disagreements and arguments into opportunities for connection.
  • Cultivate mindfulness: Practice being present in the moment, reducing stress and anxiety.

Whether seeking a more peaceful holiday season or improving your overall well-being, this series offers a valuable and transformative experience.

Nate Guadagni is the course instructor and has taught yoga, qi gong, and meditation full-time for over 16 years. He is the author of “Bo Yoga: 7 Essential Values to Energize Your Life” and has produced three DVDs: Bo Yoga for Beginners, Bo Yoga Basics, and 5 Elements Qi Gong. He has also created online courses and leads national workshops and teacher training nationwide.
