On April 30, 2021, AARP Pennsylvania hosted a webinar that helps veterans identify the skills that they have acquired during their military experiences, encouraging them to explore employment opportunities that will lead to a career path for  sustainable employment. On May 7, 2021, AARP Pennsylvania hosted a webinar to introduce  veterans to AARP's free job search resources. Additionally , more employment tools were introduced  so veterans can begin their search with resume and reference letters in hand. This session featured representatives from AARP and Pittsburgh Hires Veterans. How Do You Manage Your Job Search?
On May 14, 2021, AARP Pennsylvania hosted a webinar to help veterans organize their job search processes and use technology in the application process. Practical suggestions were provided for networking and interviewing in a virtual, post-pandemic environment. This webinar session featured representatives from AARP Pennsylvania, Peters Township Chamber of Commerce, and Pittsburgh Hires Veterans.
