AARP North Dakota welcomes intern Haley Vollmer

Posted on 07/07/22

Haley Vollmer has joined the AARP ND team as a communications and volunteer engagement intern.

Vollmer is from Wing, N.D., and will be a third-year student at Kansas State University next fall working towards a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in marketing and a minor in agricultural communications and education and entrepreneurship. She is also a competing member of the Kansas State University Rodeo Team.

Her role at AARP includes working with the North Dakota team to engage people with AARP and its events and activities. She will help communicate and promote AARP and what the organization represents -- empowering people to choose how they live as they age.

“I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to intern with AARP ND, to learn more about AARP, to learn about how to do communications and marketing in an organization, and the day-to-day operations of working in an organization,” Vollmer said.
