AARP New York Celebrates Black History Month with Style and Cuisine

AARP New York is proud to honor Black History month and we are excited to celebrate with these virtual events. Get ready to celebrate with us as we bring a series of programs into the comfort of your own home.

Throughout the month of February we will be sharing personal video messages from influencers in your community on the importance of celebrating Black History Month. Then, you can enjoy a series of healthy cooking demonstrations, and we will conclude Black History month with a Disrupt Aging Fashion Show.   

Sessions are free for AARP members and guests. Register for your reminder and to learn more about our upcoming events.  The virtual events will be broadcast on the @AARPNY Facebook channel.

Get a front row seat to see 50+ models show us what it means to Disrupt Aging & take us on a journey through the history of black fashion and style.
You will get tips from the models on how to build a complete head to toe look, all while celebrating and embracing their age and culture.
