AARP New Jersey Celebrates Father's Day at Warinarco Park!

On June 15, 2024, we held a grand celebration of Father's Day, focusing on the health and well-being of fathers and grandfathers!

This special event was proudly organized in partnership with the NAACP Elizabeth Branch, Union County, 94.7 the Block, and the Lesniak Institute. We held activities designed to enrich families such as:

• Free Food, Cookout Style
• Free Haircuts for Dads
• Live Music Performances by 94.7 The Block’s own Jon Quick and the legendary DJ Scratch, who spun tracks live that included a special tribute to DJ BEAT performed by the 40 Dawgs.
• Receive free health checks from top medical professionals. Screenings focus on critical aspects of men's health, aiming to promote long-term well-being.
• Fun for the whole family including face-painting, games, and more.
• On-site voter registration booth
• Giveaways
