AARP Maine Seeks TASH Photographers!

Posted on 12/02/23

We are seeking volunteer support in capturing video and photos of Tuesdays at the State House (TASH) efforts in 2024. The Volunteers serving in this role are asked to have a smartphone with a camera that they could use to send photos to AARP Maine regularly for social media content.

AARP Maine’s Tuesdays at the State House (TASH) is an advocacy volunteer opportunity where volunteers get directly involved in the legislative process in our state government and become more familiar with the workings of the Maine State Legislature.

During the legislative session (often January through late spring), volunteers meet the AARP team in Augusta on Tuesday mornings and we go together to the State House to observe the House and Senate in session, attend committee hearings, testify on bills, learn about issues affecting Mainers 50+, and meet with our state legislators – all of this to advocate on policy that impacts Mainers 50+ and their families.
