AARP Louisiana Seeks Dynamic Volunteer Leader
Could you be the next Louisiana State President? Nearly 500,000 members of AARP Louisiana are looking for an exceptional volunteer leader.
“AARP is powered by its members and volunteers who champion issues and advocate for the 50+ and their families,” said Denise Bottcher, AARP Louisiana State Director. “The State President position is the top volunteer leader within the AARP State Office and has the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of many.”
AARP Louisiana is currently accepting applications for State President. The State President is an individual with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, strategic planning experience, a talent for networking, and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
“Our State Presidents have been visionary leaders with a passion for issues that impact people as they age,” said Bottcher. “The State President is the voice and face of AARP Louisiana, representing nearly 500,000 members statewide.”
The State President’s term is two years and the time commitment is flexible and varies. Some travel is required, both in Louisiana and nationally, and your travel and other expenses are reimbursed.
