AARP Louisiana Hosts Roundtable Discussion with CMS on New Rx Drug Law

On Thursday, September 15, AARP Louisiana hosted a roundtable discussion with Dr. Meena Seshamani, administrator and director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

The conversation centered around the new prescription drug law, what it means to seniors, and what changes can be expected during the Medicare Open Enrollment.

AARP volunteers, staff and community partners participated in this important discussion.

The event was held at the AARP Louisiana Community Resource Center in New Orleans.
