AARP Indiana is excited to support two exhibitions at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science.

AARP members and guests can enjoy a 25% discount on regular admission on the Votes for Women:  Justice Delayed exhibition and the Faces & Echoes of Pearl Harbor exhibition.

“The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science is keeping important, historic moments at the forefront,” Addison Pollock, AARP Indiana director of community engagement, said. “We’re glad to support the museum’s efforts to remember the people and events that influenced life today.”

The Votes for Women: Justice Delayed exhibition at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science celebrates the historic 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States and women’s right to vote. The exhibit studies the many figures—nationally, in Indiana, and locally—who persevered over decades to make women’s suffrage a reality.

Votes for Women:  Justice Delayed is available for viewing now through January 2, 2022.

The Faces & Echoes of Pearl Harbor exhibition at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science commemorates the events of this historic day that occurred 80 years ago.

Museumgoers will have access to a unique collection of letters, photographs, and mementos of both service people and civilians whose lives were changed on Sunday, December 7, 1941. Complementary activities featuring images, historic film footage, radio recordings, and explanatory panels will be available throughout the exhibition dates.

The collection is available for viewing November 21 through February 13, 2022.
