AARP Indiana, Evansville African American Museum collaborate for event series, local discount
Join AARP Indiana for a brand-new event series, sweepstakes, and local discount with the Evansville African American Museum, a collaboration that promises to enrich the community's connection to our shared history and culture.
“AARP Indiana is thrilled to partner with this important local institution,” Addison Pollock, director of outreach, said. “This year we are offering robust opportunities to learn about the community, as well as critical issues like caregiving, Social Security, and voter engagement, all while saving folks money on meaningful experiences.”

This year, we're making it easier than ever for you to immerse yourself in the museum's offerings with discounts available to AARP members and their guests.
The available discount includes 50 percent off on one-time admission tickets, now only $3.50, and 50 percent off the price of an annual membership, bringing it down to just $17.50. Plus, the discount includes a 10 percent discount on a regular-priced item from the museum’s gift shop during each individual visit.
These offers are valid from June 1, 2024, until the year's end. Don't miss this opportunity to discover or rediscover this community gem. All you need to do to access the discounts is mention the code EAAM50 or the AARP Indiana/Evansville African American Museum partnership at the ticket desk.

Event series supporting family caregivers, Social Security solvency, voting
AARP Indiana and the Evansville African American Museum are also partnering for a two-part event series designed to support family caregivers, raise awareness around Social Security, and promote voter engagement for Election 2024!
“It’s important to understand the nuts and bolts of voting, while also building a coalition in support of family caregivers and ensuring Social Security’s solvency – two big issues candidates need to know and understand,” Pollock said.
Both events take place at the museum. The events are free to attend, but registration for each is required.
