AARP in St. Louis Teams Up with Ten Toe Express for Brunch Bunch Walks
AARP in St. Louis is proud to once again serve as the presenting sponsor of the Citizens for Modern Transit, Ten Toe Express program which promotes healthy behaviors while using public transit.
Our next outing is May 6th and the Brunch Bunch is on the hunt! Join us for a geocaching adventure. Geocaching is a type of global treasure hunt of people looking for caches, or hidden stashes of objects. Seekers use global positioning system (GPS) devices to find hidden caches. It will be a fun time using your phone & an app to discover hidden treasures in Forest Park. CLICK HERE for more information and/or to register.
Are you a Queen's Gambit fan? Then join AARP Brunch Bunch volunteers on June 17th for a fun filled day as we take a ride on MetroLink* to the St. Louis Chess Club. The St. Louis Chess Club strives to increase awareness of the educational value of chess through instruction and promotion. CLICK HERE for more information and/or to register.
AARP volunteers will lead you through these journeys that begin at the Shrewsbury Metro Link Station and will have you discovering hidden treasures in St. Louis. We will then enjoy an optional meal* at one of our many great St. Louis area restaurants before taking MetroLink back to the Shrewsbury Station. You will meet some new friends too!
