Avenidas Lunar New Year – Year of the Tiger Virtual Celebration: 2.2.22 @ 10 a.m. PT
Join us and Avenidas Chinese Community Center for festive virtual performances, stories, food focused conversations, virtual door prizes (ages 50+ only) and MORE! Step Up, Step Out & Soul Step – Tea & Coffee Tuesday: 2.8.22 @ 9 a.m. PT
Grab a cup of joe and join us for a virtual chat about reaching optimal wellness. Valentine’s Day Virtual Card Writing Event: 2.10.22 @ Noon PT
Join the 2022 California Cupid Crew and send some love this Valentine's Day! Together, we will create and send heartfelt cards to older adults who may need a little extra love this Valentine’s Day. This virtual program will be an interactive session where we will write our cards together, learn about local resources, and share fun stories. The first 75 people to register by January 28th will receive a card kit for the program. You will still be able to register for the event after the 28th but will have to use your own cards or download and print the online version. Learn more and register HERE. Yu-Ai Kai 48th Anniversary Fundraising Bento: 2.16-17.22
Join Yu-Ai Kai for their 48th Anniversary Fundraising Bento. The celebration will be hosted in the spirit of Yu-Ai Kai’s frog symbol (a symbol of change and adaptation) and 'Kaeru' - a safe return 'home' to on-site programs and services, as well as renewed prosperity for members and the community. Chinese Lunar New Year HomeFit Celebration & Workshop: 2.16.22 @ Noon PT
Join us as we celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year and the Year of the Tiger! Learn more about the custom of hanging lanterns, as well as tips from AARP's HomeFit guide to help you keep your home safe and sound this year.
