Every two second’s someone’s identity is stolen.  Last year, 16.7 million Americans were victimized by identity fraud. Shredding sensitive documents that you no longer need is one way to protect yourself, and the AARP  Fraud Watch Network  is here to help you make that happen.

You can begin spring cleaning after tax season by bringing your personal documents that you no longer need to be  shredded at any of the sites listed below.

Consumers can bring up to 5 bags or boxes of documents to be shredded. Suggested items include: bank statements, cancelled checks, credit card junk mail, receipts with identifying information. Documents should be free of large binder clips; staples and paper clips don’t need to be removed.  All papers will be shredded on-site in the mobile shredding truck.

All shredding events are FREE and open to the public. Our partners include: Whole Foods Market, Louisiana Attorney General's Office, Louisiana State Treasurer's Unclaimed Property Division, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, and the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.
