AARP Foundation Tax Aide Begins in February by Appointment Only

Posted on 01/16/22

In-person AARP Foundation Tax-Aide preparation will start on Oahu and Neighbor Islands in February.

Because of COVID-19 precautions, people must make an appointment to get their taxes done in person. No walk-ins will be allowed and people will not be permitted to come early and wait in line.

Each site will have a phone number to call for appointments. Each site has a phone number with set hours for taking appointments. Please check carefully to make sure you call the numbers and hours for the site you will be visiting.

You will likely have to wait outside in your car for your tax return to be prepared. Be sure you have a cell phone so you can be notified when your return is ready. If you cannot wait, you may have to make a second appointment to pick up your tax returns. You must wear a mask to your appointment and observe social distancing.

Free online tax preparation with a volunteer counselor is available at aarp.org/taxaide.
