AARP Florida Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Posted on 09/15/22

AARP Florida is honoring our state's Hispanic community as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

AARP Florida State Director Jeff Johnson said, “Heritage is what brings us together – the thread that connects us. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the diverse stories that make up Florida’s Hispanic community. The traditions, flavors and music of our Hispanic residents enrich all of our local communities.

“This month and year-round, AARP Florida celebrates our state’s Hispanic heritage. We offer free resources and events to help you stay connected to your community and thriving at any age. Discover more at aarp.org/cercadeti and aarp.org/espanol.”
