AARP AZ Statement on the 2022 Arizona State Legislative Session

“In the 2021 legislative session, AARP Arizona focused on protecting those in Long-Term Care facilities and working to find solutions on our affordable housing and growing homeless population, but we feel that we must do more for older Arizonans,” Dana Kennedy, State Director for AARP Arizona, said. “This year we’ll work to help people have a financially secure retirement through Work & Save and continue to find solutions on affordable housing and homelessness,” Dana Kennedy, State Director for AARP Arizona, said. “However, our top priority will continue to be beating the drum on the issues that our most vulnerable adults and their families face in the Long-Term Care system.”
