The 3rd annual Caregivers Conference focuses on those caring for loved ones battling cancer or other life threatening illnesses. Education, support and resources will be available in the following areas:
· Transportation
· Shopping
· Personal needs
· Meal preparation
· Housekeeping
· Paperwork
· Medication
· Companionship
· Safety supervision
This conference features keynote speaker, Marc Silver and his wife, Marsha. Silver is the author of “Breast Cancer Husband: How to Help Your Wife (and Yourself) through Diagnosis, Treatment and Beyond.”
Closing speaker is Breeda Miller, author of “The Caregiver Coffeebreak: Take a Break Before You Break: 76 Practical Tips to Help Caregivers.” A wide variety of resources and information booths will also be at the conference.
