In 2021, 41% of New Jersey voters 50 and older considered leaving the state to live elsewhere. Our current systems are failing New Jerseyans, especially older New Jerseyans. Out of the 41% who considered leaving, 75% say they want lower taxes and 73% want a lower overall cost of living. New Jersey is in an affordability crisis, and everyone should be concerned.
On behalf of our more than 1 million Garden State members and all older New Jerseyans, our priorities in 2023 are focused on solutions that will make New Jersey a place to stay for life.
