  • Tax-Aide

    Tax-Aide

    With the help of more than 35,000 trained volunteers, AARP Foundation’s Tax-Aide program helped secure $1.3 billion in tax refunds for low- and moderate-income members of their communities in 2012. With more than 6,000 Tax-Aide sites across the country, Tax-Aide is one of the most effective volunteer programs in America.

    Life Reimagined

    The goal of Life Reimagined is to help turn people’s goals and dreams into real possibilities through online and offline programs, experiences, resources and services that help people adapt to their new life phase and live their best lives. Life Reimagined seeks to help people figure out and pursue their next stage in life, especially around entrepreneurship, re-tooling for a new career, and finding opportunities to connect with peers and mentors as they pursue their goals.

    Walgreens "Way to Well" Health Tour

    Since 2009, AARP has partnered with Walgreens to provide more than $70 million worth of free health tests to underserved communities across the U.S. Look here to find out when one of the four Walgreens health busses will be in your community.

    Fraud Watch Network

    Get free watchdog alerts of scams targeting your area, stay up-to-date on con artists’ latest tricks, and find out what to do if you’ve been victimized.

  • Create The Good

    Create The Good

    An online network to connect you with volunteer opportunities in your area – from food drives to helping military families. More than 435,000 people have volunteered in their community through AARP’s Create The Good initiative.

  • Drive to End Hunger

    Drive to End Hunger

    By partnering with NASCAR Cup Champion Jeff Gordon, AARP and AARP Foundation raise money and awareness of the more than 9 million 50-plus Americans who struggle to put food on the table. Through corporate partnerships, individual donations and hundreds of food drives across the country, this initiative has donated more than 20 million meals.

    Through the efforts of 1,700 volunteer mentors, AARP Experience Corps harnesses the experience and passion of older Americans to improve literacy among disadvantaged children in grades K-3.
