This gym has changed my life for the better. The facility is beautiful, extremely clean and well-maintained. The classes are varied, challenging and fun. Staff has been nothing but pleasant and polite to me, the gym is never crowded (even during rush hour), parking is plentiful and no need for validation, and the amenities are to die for. My only regret is not joining this gym a lot sooner.
Super friendly people and staff, very very clean, awesome yoga teachers and classes (mostly what I go for here). I can’t recommend this equinox enough.
I was subjected to homophobic and disparaging commentary by a yoga teacher at this club. I raised the issue with the group fitness manager, Dana. Dana indicated this was not the first time she had received feedback that this instructor was inappropriate and assured me should would take swift action to remove this teacher from the schedule. She never did. Days went by and this teacher was still on the schedule so I escalated to general manager, Sarah, and ultimately the Senior Regional Manager, John. None of them took appropriate action. I cannot patronize this club. Equinox is demonstrating they condone inappropriate and homophobic behavior by their employees. They know they have an issue with this particular instructor but have failed to address it. In today's social climate, there is not excuse for this--in or out of the yoga studio.
I love their spin classes. Keep my tight booty in shape.
Reading all these positive comments.I can’t wait to re-join Equinox South Bay and meet all you motivated positive mind people
