Yoga can be an effective tool in improving and maintaining bone health as we age. We’ll vary traditional postures for individual ability whether you’re new to yoga or experienced. This low-impact weight-bearing practice emphasizes safe movement for those with bone density loss as well as those wishing to prevent it. Learn the risk factors for osteoporosis and how our choices can contribute to stronger, healthier bones. Please note, we will be getting down to and up from the floor at least once per class.
