A Free Family Fun Event
Woodbury Days is a 3-day community celebration packed full of great entertainment, delicious food and family fun!
Schedule of Events:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Sand Volleyball Tournament - The Sand Volleyball Courts
The Sand Volleyball Tournament is a One Day only event organized by the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association.
9:30 am and 10:30 am: Coin Hunt - Ojibway Park Playground
Look high, look low, look in, look around, check the swings, slides and climbing equipment for different colored coins to claim your prize! When your age group is called, step in to the playground and start your quest to find the special GOLD coins which earns you a Super Prize. Whether you find one or twenty coins, all participants receive a prize!
9:30 AM: Ages 2-5
10:00 AM: Ages 6-12
10:00 AM - 2:30 PM: Car Show - The Ojibway Park South Side Baseball Fields
Come see vintage cars from years past at the 3M Club Classic Cruisers Show!
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Fantasy Lego Brick Build - The Kids’ Gazebo
Create your own Lego brick dragon and unicorn with this special fantasy inspired set! We will provide instructions and all of the pieces; you provide the building skills and creativity to make it your own to bring home and add to your Lego brick creations. Adult assistance for younger children will be needed. While supplies last. Lego is a trademark of the Lego Group.
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Superhero Spectacular - The Band Shell
The superheroes are back at Woodbury Days! Become a Woodbury Days Superhero by making your very own mask to wear throughout the weekend, plus you will receive a special cape! Once you are prepped with your superhero attire, take a photo or two with our favorite superheroes like Spider Hero, Bat Hero, Patriotic Hero, Amazonian Hero, Superb Heroine and more!
12:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Robotics Team Demonstrations - The Hockey Rink
Stop by to see all the different robots that several local robotics teams have built. They will demonstrate what the robots can do and if you want, you can even test-drive one yourself!
12:45 PM - 2:45 PM: Fantastic Flying Rockets - The Kids’ Gazebo
Using pool noodles, rubber bands and decorative duct tape create a rocket the soars through the air with the pull of a rubber band! Pick your noodle color, loop the rubber bands and add your own unique touch with duct tape to create a personalized flying rocket! Adult assistance for young children will be needed. While supplies last.
3:30 PM - 5:30 PM: Woodbury Days Challenge - The Kids’ Gazebo
Grab a teammate or two and join us for our Woodbury Days Challenge. Teams of 2-4 participants (ages 5+, minimum of 1 adult per team) will be given clues that will lead them to different Vendor Booths. To receive the next clue, teams will complete a light challenge (physical or intellectual) at each participating vendor booth. This team challenge is not a race but rather a fun way to see if your team has the skills to uncover clues correctly and complete each silly challenge. All participants will be awarded a “Woodbury Days Challenge Finisher T-Shirt”.
Each team must have at least one adult and at least one Woodbury Days Button.
3:30pm Registration (Next to Kids’ Gazebo)
3:45pm - 5:30pm Challenge must be completed during this time frame
5:30pm Challenge Finisher t-shirts will be awarded to those who finish
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Artsy Cupcake with Kidcreate Studio - The Kids’ Gazebo
We’ll “bake” up delicious-looking mini cupcakes made with air-dry clay, a real cupcake liner, and Model Magic clay. Your art project will look good enough to eat! While supplies last.
6:00 PM - 6:45 PM: Woodbury Public Safety K9 Demonstration - The Bandshell
Come and see the Woodbury Public Canine Unit demonstrate their skills! They are highly trained in obedience, criminal apprehension, suspect and missing person tracking and much more.
7:00 PM - 10:30 PM: The Dweebs - Bandshell Stage
A seven-piece variety rock band that combines outrageous stage antics, audience participation, and great musicianship to breathe new life into your favorite songs of the past and present. No matter what your age, you’ll enjoy dancing and singing the night away with The Dweebs!
9:30 PM - 10:00 PM: Fireworks - The Ojibway Park Bandshell
A spectacular display of color that lights up the sky! Our fireworks are best seen from the park, so find a spot with your family and friends and be amazed! “Ooh” and “aah” at dazzling colors, fantastic choreography and a Grand Finale that’s not to be missed!
Weekend Featured Attractions:
10:00 am - 8:00 pm: Business Fair
It’s “Main Street” in the Park!
Over 150 booths line the paths of Ojibway Park, creating an outdoor “main street” experience! The Business Fair is a great way to discover many of the businesses and organizations that are available in our community.
Business Fair booths will often feature Free games, kids activities, face painting and other family fun! Plus, you will receive lots of Free goodies and coupons from the businesses!
10:00 am - Dusk: Bingo Tent
Hold Your Cards, We Have a Bingo!
Enjoy a bit of shade and win some great prizes! It’s fun for the whole family!
10:00 am - 10:00 pm: Carnival Rides and Games
Experience the Thrill of WD19!
Our carnival rides and games have something for every adrenaline level! From the famous “Rock-It” that takes riders on a journey upside down and all around, to kid-friendly coasters and merry-go-rounds.
Ride tickets are available for purchase at the park or buy a ride pass in advance and save!
12:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Beer Tent
It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere!
Can’t beat a cold brew on a hot summer day! A variety of cold beers and hard ciders are available for cash purchase in the Beer Tent at Woodbury Days. Be prepared to show your ID for entry. Must be 21+ years old to buy alcoholic beverages.
Beer Tent sales support the Rotary Club of Woodbury.
10:00 am - 10:00 pm: Taste of Woodbury
A Festival of Food Under One Big Tent!
Visit the Taste of Woodbury Tent where you can experience a tastebud tour of the city! Over 20 vendors serve up everything from traditional fair food to restaurant signature dishes. You will find many restaurants you recognize and discover some you don’t!
10:00 am - 4:00 pm: Petting Zoo
Llamas, Goats and Bunnies, Oh My!
Come and check out all the cute animals from Rainbow Corral Critters Petting Zoo! Get up close to pet and feed them, or hop on a pony and go for a ride! Cash only.
