11:30 AM-12:30 PM : Social Sundays IV: Singing for Your Cider
The Piedmont Singers, an eight-voice professional vocal ensemble made up of singers from around the Commonwealth, presents a concert of music from newly written pieces to arrangements of familiar folk tunes. Come enjoy the delicious brunch at Bold Rock while hearing choral chamber music at its finest.

2:00 PM-2:30 PM : MountainTop Masterworks Pre-Concert Conversation with Conductor John Morris Russell
Join our maestros one hour before each MountainTop Masterworks concert for an insightful conversation about the music and musicians you are about to hear.
Festival Season Passholders may enter the Dunlop Pavilion at 1:30 pm to reserve seats before the pre-concert conversation. Doors will open to the general public at 1:55 pm.
Cost: Free with concert ticket.

3:00 PM-5:00 PM : MountainTop Masterworks IV: Season Finale – Pictures at an Exhibition
In this not to be missed season finale, we bring our theme of transformation full circle with musical representations of art, life, and literature. Stella Sung's piece features "musical Americana" inspired by Norman Rockwell's portrait of JFK. Tan Dun's Contrabass Concerto is a musical ode to Jiang Rong's Wolf Totem, an epic novel about the extinction of the Mongolian culture and it's sacred animal, the wolf. With Joseph Conyer's expert playing, John Morris Russell's engaging conducting, and Mussorgsky's grand tribute to visual art, your transformative summer journey will be complete.
