Chants of Latin forgiveness break the silence as ritual sacrifices to Hekate begin. Each house bears a symbolic sacrifice consisting of everything from roasted flesh to a human soul. Watch in horror as Queen Hecuba violently reaches in to the human sacrifice to remove a beating heart to be placed upon the altar. Beware - for they know you are trespassing on the sacred rites of their hallowed temple, and Hekate might just condemn devastation and violence to those sacrilegious betrayers…
Viking Berserkers were known to be fierce warriors that battled in a trance-like fury. They were especially known for their uncontrollable rage and bloodlust. Are you brave enough to explore their ancient ruins? Travel the twists and turns of this ancient Viking ruin, but be forewarned; the Berserker spirits still lurks in the dark spaces of these great halls. There are rumors that this land once ran red with blood, so step carefully, as the dead do not wish to be disturbed. The evil that lies within hungers for the blood of new visitors. The Vikings who reside within these walls dream of times gone by, times when the blood of the innocent once flowed freely. This place may be too dangerous to explore, too twisted to explain. It's where nightmares live in the shadows and resident Berserkers endlessly search for new prey. They are happy you have arrived.

Blood On the Boundary Waters:
Wander through the six decaying late 1800’s cabins at the boundary waters… if you dare! Each cabin speaks of dark secrets and horrible deeds performed by a unique homeowner who will be waiting anxiously for your arrival. Choose the cabin of the lumberjack, who has fallen under the spell of a demon. Dank and mysterious smells infiltrate your nostrils as sharp blades and saws threaten you at every turn, covered in, what appears to be, fresh blood. Or enter the cabin belonging to the taxidermist who no longer limits his kills to that of beavers, squirrels, and foxes. His tastes for prey have gotten larger and more profitable. Better watch your back - those who venture too close to these cabins have heard their ghostly footsteps!
Surly Brewing Company is taking over Chicken Shack! In this new residency program, Valleyfair will be partnering with Surly to provide outstanding and unique food and beverage throughout Haunt. Alongside their delectable dining options, of course, Surly will be BrOOing up some Minnesota-based craft beers for those park-goers that are 21+! Make sure to check out Surly at Valleyfair before their residency ends on Oct. 27

This classic bumper car ride has been in Valleyfair since 1976, when the park first opened its gates, so you're sure to have a smashing good time on this vintage ride. Over the years, guests have enjoyed chasing, spinning and bumping friends and family alike. Just when you think you've got a clear path, BAM! There's someone you didn't dodge. No trip to an amusement park would be complete without a ride on a classic bumper car! So get behind the wheel to learn the ropes and rails of bumper cars and begin your crash course in bumping and dodging. This ride is located across from Supercat.
Guests must be 54” to drive or 48” and accompanied by a supervising companion to ride. Guests under 7 years old must be accompanied.
Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls you have seen the rest now step right up and experience the best. Enter a world where the extraordinary comes to life and your worst nightmares will seem like a pleasant dream. The clowns have escaped their maze and now roam the walkways within ValleySCARE. Under the Ringmaster's control, these colorful yet demented sideshow freaks bring everyone's inner fears to life. Mayhem takes over everything and everyone, as the clowns scour the streets beckoning you to join the carnival. Amused by fear, these clowns feed off the terror of passersby. They don’t want to make you laugh, they want to make you scream! Beware, if you make eye contact, you just might fall for this act. These deranged clowns and freaks taunt those who trespass their territory. Maniacal laughter rings through the air and all you can do is hope the joke isn’t on you.
Strap in and brace yourself, because these steel tracks show no mercy. They’ll turn you up, down, around, inside out and back again. Unrelenting speeds and 360-loops are the twists you find on this coaster in the center of Valleyfair. Prepare yourself for weightlessness and rare views of the midway below as you experience three heart-pounding inversions. After exiting the station, Corkscrew climbs 85 feet in the air leading riders directly into a shocking drop followed by a vertical loop. But it doesn’t end there. There’s no time to catch your breath when the ride hits a double-corkscrew element. After exiting the second corkscrew, the ride races into an upward helix before finally returning back to the station. This orange coaster is hard to miss as it winds in and out of the park where onlookers will be sure to hear your screams. Do you have a screw loose? Or are you bold enough to brave these aerodynamics?
Riders must be 48” tall to ride.
Made up of burlap sacks, old clothes, and a trusty pitchfork, scarecrows are the keepers of the corn on the Kihler Family Farm. Navigate your way through this disorienting, twisted path. Beware, there's more than just corn in this field! The harvest has begun, and you are the new crop. The residents have all slowly lost their minds wandering through the endless corn. They stand guard over their stalks by evoking fear into anything that threatens the crop. The people and creatures that live here are determined to rid their fields of anything they see as a threat, and you just made the list. With each wilted, black ear that falls from its stalk, the scarecrows become possessed with rage... an ear for an ear - an eye for an eye. Is this year's crop too far gone to save? Either way, it's going to be a very Dark Harvest.
Darkness Awaits – enter at your own risk…
Valleyfair is turning things upside down with Delirious, a 70-foot looping thrill ride which made its debut in the 2018 season and is the parks newest attraction. Delirious coils riders upside-down on a seven story, 360-degree freestanding structure with a high capacity, high speed train. Riders board the 24-person train where they begin to rock back and forth. The train gains momentum and races around the inside of this 7-story track, eventually slowing to hold riders suspended upside-down; the ride then reverses direction. Delirious will be capable of completing 10 revolutions in less than a minute, producing a high intensity ride experience. The ride is a prominent feature in the park’s Route 76 nostalgia-themed area. Its purple color scheme, lighting, and music will create an immersive atmosphere in keeping with Route 76’s classic amusement park theme. Delirious is located between Steel Venom and Antique Autos. You’d be delirious not to try this ride!
Riders must be 48” tall to ride.
It’s a rare skill to be able to command a wild bird such as the Eagle. But now, anyone is capable of taming the ruler of the sky when they fly on Flying Eagles. Riders take fight in one of the unique carriages that spin outward like a swing and then rise above the ground. Flying Eagles will thrill little pilots and quickly become a family favorite for parents and children alike. These two-person planes glide 28 feet above the ground and allow riders to take matters into their own hands by operating the carriage’s paddle in order to control the eagle’s flight. Whether you explore the high altitudes, as if soaring through a mountain range, or cruise at a lower elevation, as if chasing down prey, the choice is up to you. Who said swings are for kids? Strap in for some big kid fun because this ride was made with thrill seekers in mind. North Star - named to celebrate the region’s affinity to being “up north” and the great outdoors - is a 230-foot-tall tower that spins riders more than 20 stories above the ground. Seated in two-person chain-link swings that allow feet to dangle, riders will slowly begin rotating in a circular motion reaching speeds of up to 40 mph as the swings ascend and descend the tower. It’s part nostalgia, part traditional swing, and generates enough wind that you’d think it could power a small city. North Star takes you to new heights – literally. Even the area's tallest buildings seem miniature as they disappear below your feet. But, it’s no surprise, this ride is taller than Wild Thing and is clearly an attraction designed for the daring. If lift off doesn’t take your breath away, the gorgeous 360 degree views of the park will.
Riders must be 44” tall to ride.
Some say that power is one of the most addictive feelings in the world. If that’s the case, then you’ll want to ride the Power Tower over and over and over. This state-of-the-art adrenaline factory features three towers. One blue tower rockets riders 250 feet into the air. Two red towers slowly brings riders up to the top of the 275 foot tall tower. Once you've reached the peak, you can take a second to take in your surroundings and enjoy the park's scenery. Feel the tension build before you are blasted back down to earth at speeds faster than a free fall. Don’t worry – the ride's magnetic braking system will stop you from hitting the ground. The choice of which direction you’re launched is left in your hands. If you can’t feel the power now, you will when it’s time to choose your own fate. So what’ll it be? Red or blue?
Riders must be 48” tall to ride.

Twists, turns, speed, and the Old West are top features of Renegade, our world-class wooden roller coaster. Riders will experience an adventurous ride including a never-before-experienced twisting first drop, a low-to-the-ground high-speed S-turn and a high-speed station fly-by. Renegade breaks the roller coaster mold in more ways than one. Designed with a smooth ride in mind, you won’t be opposed to going on Renegade again and again. Another unique feature - the cars on Renegade each have only one row of seats and one set of wheels as opposed to the standard two or three. This allows the train to travel in a snakelike motion along an extremely twisted layout. This wooden coaster is located near the back of the park right past the entrance to Soak City Waterpark. C’mon Outlaw, what are you waiting for? Yeehaw!
Riders must be 48” tall to ride.
Ladies and Gentlemen, children of all ages! Come one come all to witness the amazing Brothers Dastardly as they flip, jump, and freakishly soar in this one-of-a-kind sinister circus. This maniacal duo will leave you on the edge of your seat! But watch out, or they just might make YOU disappear...
Hold on to your hats. Actually, scratch that. Don’t even wear one. Because to say you launch out of the station is an injustice. This coaster catapults you forward so quickly, you’re not even sure if there’s track in front of you. But with a name like Steel Venom, are you surprised? Short as it may seem, one trip on the Steel Venom is enough to make you come back for seconds, thirds, and tenths. Once the ride begins, riders are accelerated in less than four seconds to 68 mph toward the forward tower before dropping back down through the station house and up the back tower. The train runs along a 656 foot U-shaped track, incorporating two 185-foot vertical spikes. The forward spike features a twisted spiral while the backwards spike provides a straight freefall. Be on the lookout during this ride – there is a thrilling surprise waiting during every final descent. Strap in, and get ready to stop, drop and roar.
Riders must 52” tall to ride. Maximum Height Requirement: 78”.

The wandering souls of Blood Creek Cemetery have found their final resting place in Valleyfair’s newest maze, Undertakers. They've been haunting the cemetery for years, but now they are searching for new souls to add to their graveyard. Have you ever wondered what will happen after you die? You can find out as you journey through the stages of death. Mausoleums, headstones, and coffins line the horrifying maze — hiding demonic villains who can jump out any moment. Take care to ensure you make it out alive and watch out for the Undertaker himself who has been sighted roaming the grounds. Ghosts have risen from below and roam searching for fresh souls. Unfortunately, you have no choice but to face them dead-on. Distant screams can be heard echoing throughout the graveyard from those already found by the evil army. Watch your back, because there is always a reason to be scared of the dark.
Arguably Valleyfair’s most famous coaster, this green monster will have you going wild. Wild Thing begins by slithering 207 feet up the first hill, giving you stunning views of the entire park. This colossal hill is followed by a gravity-defying drop where the ride reaches up to 74 miles per hour. This drop then immediately rolls into a second smaller hill which will have you floating in your seat! Next is the figure eight helix which soars under support beams for the ride which seem uncomfortably close, but are in fact out of reach. Views of Route 76 can be seen as you begin to coast and catch your breath, but the funs not over. Wild Thing then concludes with a series of camel back hills running alongside the two initial hills. After you’re greeted by a pitch black tunnel, make sure to smile for the camera! Photos can be viewed after the ride. Wild Thing is located between Funnel Cakes and Prontos. What are you waiting for? Go wild!
