The Otazu Art Prize at UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach and the mission of Fundación Otazu
Watch on Zoom and Facebook
How does a Spanish winery relate to the contemporary art world and to UNTITLED, ART Fair? Do wine and art have something in common? Bodega Otazu —with Guillermo Penso at the head and heart of this project— shows that there can be an interesting dialogue between wine and art. Also, that the business world is not an enemy of the art world. On the contrary, there is a relationship between contemporary artists and society when there is a deep and true interest in today’s world issues. Through Fundación Otazu, and with the understanding that collecting art is more than just simply buying masterpieces, Bodega Otazu consolidates as a patron of arts and a cultural agent in today’s art scene.
