The Unionville High School Softball and Baseball teams are excited to bring The Trot back to Unionville! Come join us for the third annual Unionville 5K and 1 Mile Turkey Trot and Food Drive on Thanksgiving morning. This time honored tradition is now in your backyard, as we are proud to host the first ever 5K and 1 Mile Turkey Trot walk/run on the beautiful campuses of Unionville High School and Patton Middle School. This race will be a multi-terrain event covering grass, track, and asphalt.
This race is for all ages and all skill levels. The 5K race will be a timed event. All 5K racers will have the opportunity to time their run, but this event is centered around bringing our community together. The 1 Mile walk will be untimed. Turkey Trots exist as a celebration of thanks, a chance for the community to come together, and a great way to have fun.
Runners and community members, please consider bringing a canned good or any non-perishable item to drop off at the race. All items collected will be delivered to the Kennett Food Cupboard. What a great way to participate, even if you can’t run!
Be sure to sign up before November 1st, to make sure you get a free race tee shirt.
Registration at the course opens at 9:15a, and the race will go off at 10:15a. We hope to see you there!
