Ugly Sweater 5K Run and Sweater Stroll

About the Event

The Elkhart Education Foundation is excited to host the annual Ugly Sweater 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Sweater Stroll Presented by NIBCO. This is a fun-filled event for every person: the serious runner, the recreational jogger, walkers, and our furry friends. 

Prior to the race, take some fun pics at the photo booth!  Wear your tackiest sweater and you may win the Ugliest Sweater Contest (contest starts before the race).  Prizes will be awarded for the top Overall Male/Female as well as fastest male and female in each of 15 age divisions!  Note: The Stroll is not timed, so there are no placement awards for that event.

At the finish line, enjoy hot chocolate and holiday treats!

Check-in and packet pickup / Onsite Registration begins on Friday, December 6 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm  at Elkhart Health & Aquatics in the Community Meeting Rooms and Saturday, December 7  at NIBCO Water and Ice Park from 7:00 - 8:15 am.

We encourage people to pickup the day before if at all possible to streamline the morning.

Awards

Top three overall Male/Female in the 5K.  15 Age groups awards three deep in each for MF.  

Costume awards!  Get in on the fun and wear your silliest, funniest sweaters and holiday gear!
