In 2019, we received a grant from the  National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) for a much needed trail restoration project on Monte Sano Nature Preserve’s Bluffline Trail! We spent months updating the trail and still have more work to do! Restoration to the trail will make this popular corridor more sustainable and less susceptible to weather events and erosion. Let us know if you can lend a hand! No experience required. Bug spray and sunscreen recommended. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Masks are required in areas where 6 feet of distance can not be maintained.

Our priority remains the health and safety of our community. Safety measures will be implemented in accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Alabama Department of Public Health. Depending on current recommendations at the time of the event, this may include limited event capacity, social distancing, and sanitization.
