This year, we will split our race profits between 2 wonderful organizations/causes. The event will support Lighthouse Family Retreat, serving families living through childhood cancer by creating environments on seaside retreats where they can rest, restore relationships, experience joy and find hope in God. They exist to shine the light of Christ’s love to families living through childhood cancer. Learn more at LighthouseFamilyRetreat.org.

New this year, 1/3 of race profits will go to a special mission right here in Knoxville at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. We are teaming up with other local pediatric brain tumor families to raise the funds for CinemaVision movie goggles for the MRI so that our kids can safely have brain MRI's locally without having to be sedated.  They can watch their favorite movie to encourage them to lay still for the 45 min or more that it takes for a full brain MRI. The goggles cost $54,000 but we feel this is an invaluable investment in the children in our community!
