In this presentation, Nassau Habitat for Humanity Board President Al Pertuz will discuss the history of the local organization from its inception in 1995 and how Nassau Habitat leads to home ownership for low income families. Also included will be a review of the required elements for an organization to be successful as an entity that can develop truly affordable housing.
Attendance is free for museum members with a suggested donation of $5 for nonmembers. Masks are mandatory. Seating is limited, first come, first served. This program is wheelchair accessible.
