Therapeutic chair yoga is a gentle stretching exercise for anyone, especially those with chronic back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia or other pain and movement issues. Poses are learned either sitting in a chair or standing holding on to a chair.

Exercise can improve your ability to complete normal activities of daily living, lower the risk of anxiety or depression, and improve your quality of life.

Yoga is a free class and open to all men and women. The class meets in the Peitz Cancer Support House Activity Room. As with starting any new exercise program, please consult your physician before beginning. Certified Yoga Instructor Rebecca Smith has more than 20 years experience in teaching all levels of students

Location : Peitz Cancer Support House
