Therapeutic chair yoga is a gentle stretching exercise for anyone, especially those with chronic back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia or other pain and movement issues. Poses are learned either sitting in a chair or standing holding on to a chair.
Exercise can improve your ability to complete normal activities of daily living, lower the risk of anxiety or depression, and improve your quality of life.
Yoga is a free class and open to all men and women. The class meets in the Peitz Cancer Support House Activity Room.
