February is African American History Month, and Shreve Memorial Library is celebrating with virtual programs and encouraging everyone to participate!
"The Roots of Black Music in America" presented by Karlus Trapp. Trapp's educational and entertaining presentation takes the audience on a 100-year journey back through time to hear and experience anew, and learn about the music of America's black musical giants like Diana Ross and the Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry, and many more. This joyous show comes alive through audience participation and interaction with singing, dancing, and call and response.
