About the Event
In perfect fashion with the blues, this year’s Tall City Blues Fest will be held again at the The Destination’s Old Lumberyard located at 1705 W. Industrial in Midland. The Old Lumberyard is formerly a lumberyard long ago abandoned, but since repurposed and revamped with a juke joint vibe to be one of Midland’s coolest, most eclectic outdoor venues, accented with gems of days gone past.
Gates will open at 4 PM and first performance starts at 4 PM.
Food trucks will be on-site serving a variety of West Texas’s best food and in between music sets and tasty food, you’ll be able to shop our marketplace vendors and artist market.
Schedule of Events:
Headliner - Brandon Santini
Born in the Piedmont region of North Carolina and coming of age on Beale Street in Memphis before making his way to Illinois was the perfect playground for Santini to develop his craft and instill in him a deep, abiding connection to the blues.
As in internationally touring artist that includes shows in South America, the U.K., Europe and even Egypt, Santini’s nearly 21 years of touring have established him as a true torchbearer of the blues.
With the harmonica as his tried-and-true, his vocal work adds a dimension of raw emotion to his shows that propel people out of their seats with infectious enthusiasm.

Encore Performance
The Hooten Hallers
As a fiery, bluesy, rock-n-roll trio birthed in Missouri’s fertile heartland, The Hooten Hallers are fronted by the infernal vocal growl of John Randall and his swirling electric guitar backed by a rhythm section that includes Kellie Everett burning up the bass line on baritone sax and Andy Rehm driving the beat on skins.
By taking you on a dynamic journey from explosively raucous blues to expressive three-part vocal harmonies and danceable grooves, The Hooten Hallers are the perfect finale to another Fest for the books.
