Tai Chi for Veterans and Active Duty Service Members

No matter what form of Tai Chi is practiced, if specific instructions are incorporated, the results will be improved health of Mind and Body for better balance and reduced falls. The three basic principals are Movement Control, Weight Transference and Integration of Mind and Body.

We will be hosting this special free Tai Chi class outside on the Barn front porch.

Registration for classes is REQUIRED and each class will be capped at 6 participants. Registration Links will be posted on Facebook weekly.

Upon student arrival for Outdoor classes:
-Prior to arrival, participant must register in-advance for the class, read the COVID-19 form.
-Stay in your car until the instructor opens the class, 10 minutes before class starts. Keep most personal belongings secure in your trunk.
-Classes gather in front of the Barn on the front lawn.
-Temperature will be taken of each participant with a touch-less thermometer. If temperature is above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, participant will not be permitted to stay for class.
-Use hand sanitizer prior to checking in to class.
-Teacher will check attendance and have students sign waivers, answer pre-class screening questions and sign COVID-19 acknowledgement of risk form.
- Chairs will be provided for Tai Chi.
-Maintain 8-10 feet distance on all sides of the chair or working space.
-Masks are required when you are off of your mat/chair or in common areas. If you do not have one, one will be provided for you. Optional (but recommended) while practicing over mouth only.
-Instructor will not offer personal assistance and will remain safely distanced from students during class.
-Please use a bathroom before coming to outdoor classes. If you do need to use our bathroom, please follow the bathroom protocol after use.
