The Suddenly Sleepy Sleepwalk 5K event follows Suddenly Sleepy Saturday! Join us on Sunday, March 14 in your pajamas, kid friendly cosplay or comfortable race attire to raise awareness and raise funds to help those affected by Narcolepsy.

Narcolepsy is a medical disorder that affects one (1) in approximately every 2,000 people in the United States. Some of Narcolepsy's key symptoms are excessive daytime sleepiness, sleep attacks, sudden microsleeps, and disrupted nighttime sleep. Andre Royal Sr. has made it his mission to take on Narcolepsy as a cause worth fighting for.

In 2019 “Suddenly Sleepy” became an Oregon Nonprofit 501 (c)(3) that now provides fun and engaging ways to support educational opportunities and raise awareness of the importance of quality sleep. Lack of quality sleep is becoming much more recognized as it affects not just those who’ve been diagnosed with sleep disorders but is important to the overall health and wellness of the community as a whole.
