This on-line Zoom course will help ease your way through the process of spine surgery.  We discuss how to prepare for each phase of your surgery, including the pre-operative phase, the different phases of your hospitalization, the time of discharge, and the transition home.  Important details surrounding the hospitals requirements are discussed, including visiting restrictions, COVID testing, hospital safety, and ways Mission hospital is committed to ensuring your safety.  The class is taught by Kirsten, the Neuroscience Spine Nurse Navigator, who will be your point person through the entire process.  Mission spine classes are considered mandatory when possible, our way of ensuring you are fully prepared during this uncertain time.  Please ask the family, friend, or loved one who will be helping to care for you after your surgery to join in on the Zoom class so that they are better prepared as well.  Take care, and be safe.
