This year’s festival continues to celebrate the rich legacy of jazz while expanding the community’s perspective on individuals with unique abilities. Taking place across multiple venues in Miami Beach, the festival showcases world-renowned and emerging artists from the entire spectrum of jazz. With many events being free and outdoors, the sounds of jazz will enliven the city all weekend long, offering residents and guests of Miami Beach a time to enjoy, listen, and learn. Join us in celebrating disability awareness, access, opportunity, and inclusion through the universal language of jazz.

11:30 a.m. - Spirit of Goodwill Band

The Spirit of Goodwill Band, made up of people with a variety of disabilities – come together to play beautiful music.

12:45 p.m. - Ricky Williams

Ricky Williams, a Smooth Jazz, R&B, and Soul artist, has captivated South Florida audiences. Blind since childhood, he launched his career in New York City, collaborating with legends like Stevie Wonder and Bennie King.

2:00 p.m. - Carole Ann Taylor

Carole Ann Taylor, known as CAT, is a soulful Miami jazz singer with a career spanning decades. She has performed with legends like Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton, and Cedar Walton, captivating audiences at prominent venues throughout Miami and beyond.

3:00 p.m. & 5:00 p.m. - Bad Apples Brass Band

Bad Apples Brass Band is South Florida’s premier New Orleans-style brass band, known for electrifying performances that blend traditional brass with modern influences. They bring infectious street beats and heavy grooves to every event, sharing stages with legends like Rebirth Brass Band and inspiring through community outreach.

3:30 p.m. - Danny Sinoff

5:30 p.m. - Yissy García & Bandancha

Yissy García is a groundbreaking Cuban drummer blending jazz, funk, and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Leading Bandancha and collaborating globally, she’s a major influence in female percussion.

7:30 p.m. - Melton Mustafa Jr. Big Band and Jesse Jones Jr.

Experience the soulful synergy of Melton Mustafa Jr. and Jesse Jones Jr. as they join forces at the South Beach Jazz Festival for an unforgettable performance. Don’t miss these two jazz legends blending their powerful sounds and captivating energy live on stage
