Smoking Cessation Class

No matter how old you are or how long you’ve smoked, quitting can help you live longer and be healthier. Redmond offers FREE Smoking Cessation classes on the first Monday of every month in the Cancer Resource Room on the 2nd floor at Redmond Regional Medical Center.  Classes begin at 9:30am and are 90 minutes long.  Although classes are FREE, you must register BEFORE class in order to attend. 

Registration is available online or by calling the Lung Program office directly at 706-368-8880.  Redmond offers “FreshStart” smoking cessation through the American Cancer Society.  “FreshStart” helps you take the first steps to quitting smoking. Classes are led by Lisa Acree, MSN, ANP-BC Nurse Practitioner and Program Clinician for Redmond’s Lung Screening and Lung Nodule Clinic.
