Godfrey burst onto the scene in 1999 by landing the starring role in Lateline and appearing as the 30x30 Kid Flicks host on HBO's Family Channel.Godfrey returned home to Chicago where he formed the comedy team of Godfrey and Alexander. After going solo, he began doing commercials, landing major deals with World Cup Soccer, Nintendo and McDonalds.His television appearances include Comedy Central's
