From the pens of two of America’s greatest folk poets and storytellers comes an exploration of the depth of common human experience. First, poetic selections from Edgar Lee Master’s “The Spoon River Anthology” celebrate the living as only the dead can tell it.   Then, from “Mules and Men”, Zora Neale Hurston takes us to Eatonville, Florida as she brings to life the humor and wisdom that is the unique heritage of African Americans.
