Seabrook Bird Survey

Four birders, Penny Bessire, Jackie Farrell, Natalie Stephens, and Jane Lindsey joined me for the Houston Audubon Monthly Bird Survey at Pine Gully Park, Seabrook. Despite very foggy conditions we tallied 49 species, including a Belted Kingfisher I saw when alone and made a separate eBird entry. Big thanks to all who participated and to Jackie Ferrall for entering our sightings into eBird, noticing the American Oystercatchers we saw were "Rare" for Pine Gully Park, then was able to  photo the pair in flight for documentation and adding one more species to the Pine Gully Park "Hotspot" eBird checklist! Also, Jackie's photo of a wren we did not get good looks at proved to be a Sedge Wren!
