About the Event
Sansari Puja (Mother Nature Ceremony) is a Community Celebration Held on the First Full Moon Day of the Nepali New Year (Between Mid April-mid May). This Springtime Festival is an Appeal to the Gods of Nature for Blessings for a Successful Agricultural Season and for Individual Health and Wellbeing.
Through Dances, Chants, and Songs, Nepali Shamans and Priests Call for Forgiveness, Peace, Prosperity and Unity During the Ceremony. Together, the Community Will Ask the Gods of Nature to Free All Beings From All Forms of Discrimination and Opression.
Various Groups Within Vermont’s Bhutanese Nepali Community Will Perform Traditional Dances Throughout the Day.
Suggested Donations: Fruit, Juices, and Water. Nepali Food and Drinks Will Be Available for Free to Attendees.
We Hope to See You at the Ceremony!
