Schedule of Events:

8:30 am: Root River County Park Field Trip

Meet at the park at at 8:30 am. Root River County Park is just south of Rochester near Simpson. We’ll look for early migrating birds and spring wildflowers such as snow trillium. Trails can be muddy here. This trip will be cancelled if it’s raining harder than a light sprinkle. ?Masks and social distancing may still be required.

2:00 pm - 3:15 pm: Tomato Plant Girl: Theatre for Young Audiences

Meet Little Girl, Bossy Best Friend, and the wild and silly Tomato Plant Girl! Maybe Little Girl has found a new Best Friend. But what will they do when Bossy returns? And what if Tomato Plant Girl won’t stay? When her friendships collide and Little Girl has to choose, she discovers the power of courage, making her own choices, and revels in the joy of being different.

This powerful exploration of friendship, bullying, and the joy of being different delights young audiences with its physical action and high-energy dialogue.
