Please call before attending any community events. It is likely that they will be postponed or canceled as a result of the coronavirus. You can find CDC coronavirus information at cdc.gov/coronavirus; AARP has additional resources at aarp.org/coronavirus.
This group is intended for people who recognize they have a problem with alcohol or other drug use and have a desire to stop using; people who are in early recovery and want to learn skills to build a life of recovery; and participants who have started Medication Addiction Treatment (MAT) and are transitioning into further treatment. Participants may join this group at any time.
The facilitator will lecture using 5 lessons from the researched, evidence-based Hazelden curriculum: Living in Balance and end the sessions with a brief time of Q&A. The instructor will provide weekly handouts/workbooks of the material covered, and can provide verification of attendance if requested.
