Racing Against Hate 5K Run/Walk

About the Event

Join the First Coast YMCA and Jewish Community Alliance for the 2nd Annual Race Against Hate 5K Run/Walk at the Winston Family YMCA on Sunday, February 23, 2025!  Let's lace up and come together to celebrate unity, diversity, and inclusivity in our community. Whether you're running to beat your personal best or walking to show your support, this event is more than a race-it's a movement for change and hope. The annual event will include a 5K run or walk over the Acosta Bridge in the main road (southbound) starting at 1pm.  A 1 mile fun run has been added to the riverwalk starting at 2pm.  Both runs are open to runners and walkers of all levels.  You will earn a Racing Against Hate T-shirt and custom medal. 

The Unity Village will be open pre and post event with community partners, activities and food trucks.  A brief warm-up/stretch will be held by our YMCA & JCA instructors for all ages & abilities.

Event Schedule:

12pm - Unity Village Opens with vendors and community partners

Race packet pick up and Day of registration opens

12:45pm - Warm-up and announcements

1pm - 5K Race begins

2pm - 1M Fun Run Begins

2:15pm - Awards Ceremony

3pm - Unity Village closes
