Prostate cancer remains the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men, aside from skin cancer. To help raise awareness of the disease, the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute offers community prostate cancer screenings throughout the year.
Get a PSA blood test to measure your risk for prostate cancer.
-You must be between 45-75 and never had prostate cancer.
-You must not have had a PSA (prostate-specific antigen) blood test in the last 12 months.
-Interpreters are available free of charge.
Health care professionals will screen adult men for prostate cancer with a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test at no charge. A nurse navigator is available to help arrange follow up care, if indicated.
Call 404-531-4444 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday to register.
