Choosing to undergo joint replacement or spine surgery is an important decision. Participants will learn what to expect before, during, and after undergoing joint replacement or spine surgery.

Reservations required and can be made by calling 727-834-5630. If you have someone who can serve as a "coach" or "cheerleader" for you while at the hospital, please encourage him/her to attend as well.

Program Description and Highlights:

- Led by one of our enthusiastic Physical Therapists of the Spine and Joint Care Center.
- Includes insight from our excellent nursing staff that is responsible for our patient’s pre-operative assessment.
- Highlights expectations our patients should strive to meet for best post surgical outcomes, including, but not limited to the expectations for the day of surgery,  what you need to bring with you, importance of having a "coach", and commitment to physical therapy post discharge.
- Enables participants to become familiar with the unit, nursing staff, and physical therapy staff who are committed to providing you with the quality care and an excellent patient experience.  

Participants will be screened (COVID questions and temperature) and asked to social distance and mask while participating in the program.
